1. The Evolve Pro software on the Magnum is extremely simple to navigate, and to use, allowing unskilled operators to dispense batches.
2. The Accurex® cartridge is an extremely clean, sealed, container that gives us a completely self contained dispensing channel. This means that the machine does not employ conventional mechanical dispense valves and the other control hardware necessary to actuate these valves. This makes the machine mechanically extremely simple, which eliminates most field service and repairs.
3. Because the cartridge is completely self contained, changing base colors is very simple and quick, (less than 10 seconds to change a supply container) and can also be accomplished by personnel of any skill level.
4. The Accurex® cartridge allows the machine to be designed in such a fashion that we need only an electric motor to position the table, and an air cylinder to provide the power to move the ink. …“Delivery times for these batches from a local branch typically take from 4-8 hours. The Magnum has allowed our customer sites to use Standard blending bases, which can be between 25% and 50% less expensive than ordering a small batch special from the local branch. If the press run is very small, one or two lbs is usually sufficient to fill the press. The customers are now not limited by minimum order quantities, or put in a position where they have to wait for most of a shift for a color for a job that could be on press in the next half hour. If the customer needs a standard PMS color, or a small quantity of a special color that has be formulated previously, a batch can be dispensed and mixed in about 15 minutes.
